The VHP has further accused the Muslim community of conducting regular prayers at the site, including Fatiha and Friday prayers, which have added to the tensions.

In response to the protests, VHP leaders have written to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the District Collector, and local police, demanding the demolition of the mosque and other structures they deem unauthorized. “The construction of this mausoleum, which was later converted into a mosque, raises serious concerns,” said Bedi. He also questioned how the structure could be built on stone without excavation.
