One speaker claimed he had heard Muslims in Kashmir in 1989 expressing a desire for Kashmir to be populated by Hindu women and daughters, but without Hindu men, warning that a similar situation could arise in Himachal.
He urged Hindu men to control their women, questioning whether a “mulli” (a derogatory term for Muslim women) ever approached them like Hindu women do with Muslim mehendi artists. The rally also featured chants of “Jab Mulle Kate Jayenge” (When Muslims will be cut), which were captured in a video of the event. He also mocked the Muslims offering namaz, asking people to be wary of ‘‘those who make noise five times a day like a chicken’.
