At a protest rally allegedly against illegal mosques, a speaker raised several inflammatory claims. He questioned, “When the country had already been partitioned, why did Muslims stay here? What is the conspiracy behind it? We need to look into it.” He asserted that Hindus should have had rightful claims to properties left by Muslims during the partition, but those properties were transferred to the Waqf board. The speaker made false claims that the Waqf board could take over property simply by placing a shoe or a cap on it. He also claimed that mosques and mazars serve only as shelters for those sneaking into Himachal, alleging that they are used to store weapons. He insisted that many rifles are kept in mosques in nearby villages and that Muslims are storing arms at home and in the mosques and mazars.
Further, he spread false allegations about love jihad, thook jihad, and claimed that Muslim doctors were injecting Hindu girls with substances leading to abortions, and that Hindu men were being injected to cause impotence.
