FARIDABAD – Bittu Bajrangi, who was arrested for playing a role in the Nuh violence, shared the stage with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar and the Bharatiya Janata Party candidates during an election rally here on Monday.

Bajrangi, who is facing 12 criminal cases, came to the limelight after targeting people in the name of ‘Love Jihad’. During communal violence in Nuh, Bajrangi alias Rajakumar, made provocative remarks in his video causing tension in the area. After his video went viral, he was arrested by the local police.

Now, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) candidates are boasting of getting support from Bajrangi.

On Saturday, BJP candidate Satish Kumar Phanga took to social media to announce that Bajrangi has decided to support the BJP candidate during an election rally in Faridabad.

“Shri Bittu Bajrangi (president of Gauraksha Bajrang Force), inspired by the nationalist ideology, good governance, and the policies of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), extended his full support during the massive public rally of the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, in the esteemed presence of senior BJP leaders and workers. I warmly welcome and extend my heartfelt thanks to him and all his supporters,” said Phagna on Facebook.

He also shared several photos including one showing Bajrangi at the stage along with Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister. A video shows that Bajrangi is addressing the rally. Other photos show Bajrangi campaigning for the BJP candidate.
