Bhubaneswar: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Odisha on Thursday for a five-day visit, during which he will participate in several private meetings.

Upon his arrival in the afternoon at Biju Patnaik International Airport, he proceeded to the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti office in the Mancheswar area, where he will spend the day.

On Friday, he is scheduled to visit the holy city of Puri. In addition to offering prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple, he will visit Gobardhan Peeth and hold a meeting with Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati.

On August 10 and 11, Bhagwat will attend a conference with the organization’s top national officials in Puri.

Following his engagements, he plans to depart from Odisha on August 12, as informed by senior RSS functionary Sumanta Kumar Panda. Panda also mentioned that there will be no public events during Bhagwat’s stay in the state.
