Aamir KhanMaharaj has landed in trouble as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s youth wing, represented by Bajrang Dal has expressed concern over the content of the film demanding a screening before the release to make sure that it doesn’t feature anything controversial that may hurt their religious sentiments.

According to a report in ETimes, Gautam Ravriya (coordinator, Konkan region of VHP-Bajrang Dal) delivered a letter to Netflix and Yash Raj Films to arrange a screening for the religious group before the Friday release.

Sharing the details about the letter, Gautam told the website that despite their request, there has been no response from the makers.

He further added that if they find anything objectionable in the film and if their requests and demands are not fulfilled, the outfit will halt the film’s release and may even approach the High Court.

The website contacted director Siddharth P Malhotra who hasn’t yet responded while Netflix refused to comment on the matter saying they’ll get back.

Reportedly, all the stakeholders of the film have been asked to not speak to the media till the release.
