Kota: A 23-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour at her house in Khatoli police station area of Kota district on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday while her husband was away.
The survivor went to police after her husband returned and lodged a report on Monday night against the neighbour, Hemant Goswami (around 30 years old), said SHO of Khatoli police station, Bannalal.
The accused is yet to be arrested, the SHO said.
According to the report lodged by the woman, Goswami barged into her house at night and choked her mouth to supress her screams while he raped her.
