CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has denied permission to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) Brij Mandal Jal Abhishek Yatra slated to be held on August 28.
Nuh deputy commissioner on Tuesday evening formally rejected the application for permission moved before him by the organizers.
According to information, apprehensions of disturbance of law and order during the proposed yatra, expressed by local police as well as intelligence agencies, were said to be one of the reason behind declining of permission to the organizers.
